East Midlands Freeport has refreshed its quarterly newsletter as it looks to keep businesses, partners, communities and stakeholders up to date with the latest progress across its sites.

The new-look publication has been redesigned to make it easier to navigate, with clearer sections and direct links to further information. Each edition will bring together key stories, decisions and opportunities shaping the Freeport’s future.

Readers will receive updates from across East Midlands Freeport – covering business investment, infrastructure, skills, innovation, community activity and governance.

The newsletter will also include a personal update from Chief Executive Tom Newman-Taylor, offering his perspective on the Freeport’s priorities and progress.

The first edition features:

·         The opening of the East Midlands Zero Carbon Innovation Centre at Loughborough University, supporting businesses to develop and test clean-energy technologies.

·         The launch of the latest round of the Skills and Community Equity Fund, which offers grants for projects improving access to skills, employment and opportunity.

·         Updates on the planning, infrastructure and governance activity helping to unlock long-term investment across Freeport sites.

The quarterly newsletter forms part of East Midlands Freeport’s commitment to keeping partners and communities informed as it delivers investment, jobs and inclusive growth across the region.
