East Midlands Freeport’s 2025/26 Business Plan sets out our delivery priorities for the year ahead – building on strong foundations to drive forward targeted investment, site activation, and skills development.
This is a practical, purpose-driven plan focused on unlocking our sites, creating high-quality jobs, and accelerating clean growth across the East Midlands.
It forms a key part of how we’ll deliver our long-term ambition: to generate more than £1 billion in reinvestment and create up to 28,000 jobs by 2031.
Backed by the UK Government’s Industrial Strategy, and shaped in close collaboration with local authorities, site developers and East Midlands Combined County Authority, this plan reflects our role as a key enabler of place-based, inclusive growth.
